Summer Class Project

So, I just finished my summer class website project – project301.cheyennekelly.com

I really had so much fun building it and getting into the CSS and messing around with it. I made a more detailed post on my professional blog here, but I just wanted to update this one as well.

Class was over Zoom today and there were only two of us who showed up to ask questions. The other person there asked about the project due today, got a couple answers and dipped. I asked one question about the project due today, but then asked more about the website. The professor helped me find my headings and I snapped a pic of the screen so I could find it and fix it later. I told him I was having fun with the CSS and he told me that there’s money in coding in any form, and recommended Python to me.

I started Automate the Boring Stuff last semester, but decided to put it on pause when I found out I’ll need to have a basis in C# for my Business Application classes in the fall. Out of the languages I’ve started learning, I think Python is my favorite just because it doesn’t end every line with a semicolon.

I did a tarot reading for myself on the last full moon, and the cards told me to keep doing what I’m good at. This website project just reminded me that I’m good at learning code and I just need to keep practicing.
